Deena McMahon on Diagnosing Young Children
I frequently work with very young children who are having behavioral or developmental problems. I'm skilled in the application of a new national protocol (DC-03) for assessing and diagnosing very young children with developmental/behavior challenges or difficulty forming relationships.
I address issues such as sensory integration disorder, developmental delays, attachment issues, anxiety, the effects of neglect/abuse, auditory processing problems, and speech and language delays. The earlier we identify and intervene with young children, the more positive the outcome.
