Deena McMahon on Grief and Loss
I became interested in treating grief and loss issues in 1989, as a result of the death of my infant son. I know what a person feels when they lose someone essential. The insights I gained in this life-changing experience have allowed me to help others.
I have counseled individuals and led groups in grief and loss therapy. I’ve worked with parents who have lost children and children who have lost parents or siblings through death, adoption, imprisonment, separation, and divorce.
