Diagnosing Young Children Using the DC: 0-3R Protocol

Deena McMahon frequently works with very young children who are having behavioral or developmental problems. She is skilled in the application of a new national protocol (DC: 0-3R) for assessing and diagnosing very young children with developmental/behavior challenges or difficulty forming relationships. She addresses issues such as:

  • Sensory integration disorder
  • Developmental delays
  • Attachment issues
  • Anxiety
  • Effects of neglect/abuse
  • Auditory processing problems
  • Speech and language delays

When dealing with infants and very young children, it can be difficult to differentiate normal, developmental stages from issues that should be addressed. The DC: 0-3R diagnostic process coupled with Ms. McMahon’s extensive experience in the field allows her to confidently identify true concerns. To arrange for Ms. McMahon to diagnosis of a young child, please contact McMahon Counseling and Consultation Services by email or call (651) 210-0335.

The earlier we identify and intervene with young children, the more positive the outcome.
